Wedgewood Boulder Wedding

Okay, okay let’s talk for a second about having a fairytale themed wedding! Would you have one? When else in the world do you have the opportunity to drench yourself in whimsical glory?? I’ve always been a fan of themed weddings because they tend to bring the best out of people and themed weddings are just really stinkin’ fun and I think the photos in this post support that! We really love to see our couples swept away in the happiness of their day, we want them to be carefree and enjoy themselves to the full extent so any detail big or small that can support that is seriously welcomed!

C+D’s wedding had ALLLL the romantic fairytale features you could ask for from a Colorado winter wedding. This beautiful day featured kisses of snow, luxurious velvet capes, and of course a Tangled wedding cake, all with Wedgewood Boulder as the backdrop. Wedgewood Boulder is located a ways up into the mountains of Boulder and is set right on Boulder Creek. On top of that, there are magical woods nearby. The layout of C+D’s reception felt intimate and cozy with the family-style wooden tables and various candles, lanterns, and stone fireplace that are distributed around the venue.

Looking back I think my favorite part of this day was just how silly and sweet C+D are! The pictures just exude their colorful personalities! They even held guest-made vote on who should get cake smashed in their face! This energy and excitement were emanating! Nearly all their guests, young and old made their way to the dance floor at some point through the evening. Eat, drink, be merry, and married was ever so true. The simple takeaway from C+D’s fairytale Wedgewood Boulder wedding is to be yourself and HAVE FUN!
