About Persephone

Kate and Sarah started Persephone Photo & Film with the intention of creating an inclusive and accessible wedding photography company in Colorado.

We have photographed a combined total of over 1000 weddings and seen it all. We find passion in using our experience to provide a seamless experience to couples in love.

We’ve curated a small team of photographers who share our values, experience, and most importantly, love of photographing weddings!

We love to honor the mix of posed and storytelling photos that wedding lend themselves to naturally. Our photographers will document your day as it unfolds, while also taking care to pose you and your love ones for those important photos you’ll want to hang on the wall.

We’re currently taking a limited number of 2023 weddings and are booking 2024. Usually our clients book us 12-18 months in advance.

We include two photographers in all of our packages.

We have a small trusted team of LGBTQ+ affirming photographers. We have hand selected them because of their years of experience, quality of work, and focus on supporting you on your wedding day.

All of our photographers use two full frame professional cameras and a variety of lighting to give you the best results no matter where your wedding takes place!
